In 2022 Joe Rogan, comedian extraordinaire and commentator bought the building. With Austin Architect Richard Weiss at his side he set out to transform it into The Comedy Mothership – a standup comedy nightclub destination that would draw in talent from all over the world. This was something close to Joe’s heart; creating an environment where comics could thrive together as one community here in Austin Texas. After months of hard work and dedication this dream became reality with much success!
